world's biggest slip and slide: round 2

DSC_1421 DSC_1428 DSC_1485 DSC_1441  DSC_1507 DSC_1491 I know what you're thinking.  What a redneck family. Honestly, we aren't as trashy as it may appear in these photos. If you had access to an insane hill and a firetruck, wouldn't you love to give this a try? This was our second year to set this up for the Fourth of July.  So patriotic, I know.

Olivia was the bravest little lady, giving a very double-jointed thumbs up as she began her descent.  It quickly turned to more of a thumbs down experience, but still, she went a few more times.  She even decided to take her bike for a whirl down the hill when nobody was paying attention...thankfully she wasn't hurt.  Poor little Will spun like a crying, slippery starfish all the way down, and never went again.  The other kids couldn't get enough, and neither could my brothers-in-law, obviously!

As for my experience, I can tell you that getting grass rash at 80 mph hurts.
